Preface
Some announcements, big and small, to make here.
To start with the smaller stuff, there’s a bit of restructuring going on with my logs, hopefully to make reddit not think the posts are spam like last time, and also to just make them easier to post. All past progress logs will be linked in a Google doc at the spot the big ol’ list was before. This also helps me post more stuff in the logs if necessary because I was getting up there in character count.
The previous bit is no longer relevant as of the move to this blog, but I’m keeping it for post accuracy’s sake.
On the back end, I still need to work on cleaning up some documents in the main folder, and clarify some things. I’ve not really formally recorded that future bosses are locked behind collection log completion of previous bosses, for instance. I still need to add trophy pictures of a lot of things, but also I have a grander vision of the trophy case in general which will be hella awesome to see come to light, “when I get around to it™©®”. I also need to work on the quest list for the eventual Dragon Slayer 2 unlock. And add some contingency plans that I will discuss later.
The first big announcement is I stream now! Not extremely consistently since as I started things, life hit me with a buncha shit and I’ve got a new, more time consuming, job, but you can find me here on Twitch.
The second big announcement is that I’m (trying) to get vods uploaded to my Youtube channel with the eventual goal of highlight reels, clip compilations (when I start getting those lmao), and narrative progress videos with an eventual recap of my progress logs to the point where I can likely transition into video logs.
Of course, with the new job and life stuff, I’ve been pretty busy and haven’t been able to learn how to edit things (and would, honestly, much rather be playing the game when I can) so those will take some time to get out. But, the plan is there so expect something soon™!
I hope to strike a balance between work and streaming, but work and me time come first, and streaming is very draining for me most of the time.
The rest of the announcements are progress related and will not be spoiled in this section, so dig in!
Progress
So, the plan that I talked about in the last progress log. The plan for Black Dragonhide. The plan crafted specifically for 84 Crafting and other benefits. That plan.
Yeah I decided that I didn’t want to sit there and only do that.
While doing it, I did some DPS calculator checks and Black D’Hide isn’t that much better than Red D’Hide (even though better is better). I do want to get the level to make it because having a decent and disposable/replaceable set of armor for Wilderness stuff will be super handy.
I did kill a few dragons though, and ended up getting 70 Prayer. I got my 9th Stamina Potion from Jekyll, too.

I wanted to do more Sire, so I went and fished for Abyssal Demon tasks. I did get one, but, I got very close to a level that I’d anticipated in The Plan with all the other combat done, which made doing more combat a bad idea since I wanted to have a celebration for it.
Due to that, I went and killed some Kurasks for money for runes/construction, Nature runes, herbs, and seeds. I hit 82 Defence finally (was sitting at like, 50k away for months).

During that, I got my 10th Stamina Potion, allowing me to make a very useful thing.

I had to stop shortly after in preparation for a relevant party, however, so I went and used up some planks that I had stored to hit 67 Construction. I went and bought the materials for Teak Shelves 2, allowing me to +3 boost with Tea, and made the Revitalization Pool in my house.

After that, I made some Glass and Unpowered Orbs, which got me to 80 Crafting.

Not wanting to lock myself out of combat too long, I’d scheduled my 99 Hitpoints party fairly quickly, and streamed it on Twitch. I went right back to killing Sire, though I didn’t get much to show for it.

On a farm run, I hit 67 Farming, allowing me to Garden Pie boost to 70 and plant Poison Ivy seeds, of which I have an abundance of. These do not die, and grant a lot of experience compared to the other bushes I had at my disposal. Farming is now much, much easier to level.

Getting bored with not getting anything good for all the work I was doing at Sire, I went to kill the King Black Dragon instead, since it was a lot easier than Sire. I didn’t expect to get anything, but I wanted to bully him anyway.
For not expecting anything, the Dragon Pickaxe that I got at 203 KC was a very pleasant surprise. That not only completes my non-pet collection log at KBD, but also opens up boosting from 82 Mining for the Fremmy Elite and Wilderness Elite diaries, meaning I don’t have to get 84 Mining. Which is nice, because mining sucks.

Realizing that I could make the Rejuvenation Pool with the supplies I had, I made enough planks via Plank Make to hit 77 Construction. But in true fashion of late, I did not use them all and only got to 71 Construction. I will, however, eventually (and soon) finish that up.

While I was killing Sire, I hit 101 Ranged. Nothing past 99 means anything but number go up = good.

At 304 KC I got my 3rd Unsired, which turned into a Bludgeon Axon, leaving me 1 piece away from an Abyssal Bludgeon.

I hit 86 Slayer during this hunt for Abyssal Demon tasks, a useless number at the moment.

While making more Ruby Bolts for Sire, I hit 97 Magic.

At 360 KC I got my 4th Unsired, which turned into an Abyssal Dagger. This being a melee weapon that’s better than the Leaf Bladed Battleaxe, I turned my focus towards the remaining two Dagannoth Kings that I needed loot from. I will return to the Sire grind at a later date, given that a Bludgeon would still be useful (And I do need to complete the log).

In a particularly lucky streak, I quickfire marked off some very nice goals.
The setup I used for Supreme/Prime was this: I used the Lunar Spellbook, preferring to use Cure Me instead of relying on Antipoison Potions. I brought a hybrid of my melee and ranged boosting gear with a focus on melee so I could kill Supreme Faster, since he was the more dangerous one. When I finished Supreme’s log, I still kept the gear setup as aggroing Supreme was still dangerous, but I stuck to the north-east corner as best I could while fighting Prime. I eventually got the big-brain idea to spellbook swap to telegrab the loot/bolts from killing Prime, which drastically increased trip durations as I aggrod Supreme far less often, and I also kept more bolts in the end. I used Brews and Super Restores so I could last as long as possible, supply wise.

At Prime KC 23, I got a Skeletal top, one of the items for my Collection Goal.

As a winding down activity and knowing that I would need a lot more Adamant Bolts, I mined Adamantite Ore for a while, hitting 73 Mining.

Back at DKs, I got a pair of Skeletal bottoms at 56 Prime KC. Later, I got an Archers Ring at 97 Supreme KC, a Seers Ring at 120 Prime KC (a second one at 139 KC, and a third one at 220 KC) a Seercull at 157 Supreme KC (which marks the end of my non-pet Supreme Collection Log goal), a third Dragon Axe at 263 Prime KC, and a Mud Battlestaff at 289 Prime KC, completing the non-pet Prime Collection Log goal. All within a span of four days, this is probably my luckiest streak so far.

This marks the completion of the non-pet Collection Log goal for Dagannoth Kings, which unlocks the God Wars Dungeon bosses.

While killing the DKs, I got 71 Prayer, but it wasn’t screenshotted for some reason.
Not wanting to hunt Black Chins in this moment, I set out to kill Commander Zilyana instead of Kree’arra. Of the four Generals, Kree’arra and Zilyana seem to have the best chance of giving me scalable upgrades, and are also the easier ones to kill with my current gear.
So on December 21st, 2021, I got my first God Wars Dungeon boss kill, Commander Zilyana.

Knowing I’d need a lot of Diamond Bolts, I went gem mining once more, hitting 74 Mining.

Just because I had the resources, I hit 82 Herblore after I’d finished making other useful potions. I also hit 68 Farming on a farm run.

On the 26th I decided to continue my tradition of being lazy and not wanting to grind resources and also testing my ability, and started doing Broad Bolt focused kills instead, easily attaining my 36th KC. Currently, at 91 KC, this is my main method of killing Zilyana. I do switch to Diamond Bolts if the kill starts going south, but I primarily use Broad Bolts. I do understand that this is making it harder on myself, but I enjoy the challenge and I really really really hate mining.
While making more Broad Bolts, I hit 91 Fletching.
I also hit 102 Ranged while getting KC for Zilyana. Number. Go. Up.

On KC 82, Zilyana dropped a Saradomin Hilt, making it my first drop at God Wars. Tradition continues, it is completely useless right now, as I do not have a Blade (nor do I have shards!) but those will come soon enough.

So far I have 91 KC. I am currently killing the 40 creatures every time to enter the boss room, but once the hype for Nex and Sara in general dies down, I will be grinding Ecumenical Keys instead. I can only get one kill per trip, and I don’t really foresee that changing any time soon. Likewise, when I can farm keys I will be trying out Kree (I actually almost got a kill with just Gray Chins on my first attempt, so Black Chins will definitely push me over that hurdle) since Armadyl pieces will help a lot too.
This is my setup for each kill. When I run out of Summer Pies, they’ll be replaced with another Energy Potion or a Saradomin Brew.

Should I feel adventurous, I may get an Odium Ward, but I do believe the tankiness of the Dragonfire Shield is important.
For now, that is all I have to share. Onward to more Zilyana kills!
These were my stats at the time of this post
