Preface
Opening immediately with a change in the format of the introduction/title of the logs, since they’re likely not going to be every two weeks for a while, the descriptor number will just increase per period/post and the title/intro will reflect that.
Progress
So! I didn’t really feel like playing much again, but I also wanted to get some progress in, so I defaulted to my favorite activity: AFK fishing. And boy did I do a lot of that.
First, I hit 98 Fishing.
And a while after that, I hit 99 Fishing, marking the 2nd 99 on the account and leaving me with 16k Raw Sharks to cook.
Cooking those Sharks put me at 24k Sharks and 95 Cooking.
Still looking for AFK activities, I cast a bunch of Plank Make on some Teak Logs and hit 90 Magic, and then manually spun some Flax to hit 77 Crafting (Letting me make Red Dragonhide Bodies, which I did, to give me some backups).
Wifi at work has been absolute fuckin shit so I’ve decided that PVM is not really an option there. As such, I’ve been cutting Oaks outside Barbarian Assault for some future Magic and Construction training. I will try my phone and seeing if the cell connection can pickup good enough after the wifi drops but I’m not placing bets on that.
Before I started writing this, I wanted to continue my Basilisk task at Basilisk Knights, but I forgot I was out of Ruby Bolts and definitely did not have the desire to mine for Rubies. (I really hate Mining by the way).
I did, however, remember that Keldagrim’s Gem Store sells a Ruby! 1,500 gp per 12 Ruby Bolts is kind of steep, but it’s a small price to pay to not have to mine. I found 150 Yew Logs in my bank, which I made into Yew Longbows and alched. I then spent the money from that on Rubies, bringing me back to around 1,300 Ruby Bolts when combined with my remaining stock. I am now slowly but surely burning through at Basilisk Knights. This will definitely happen again in the future.
Anyway, killing Basilisks and cutting Oaks is all I’ve got left to do for this period so unless I get a Jaw (or the Beaver I guess), there won’t be much to report.
