Preface
Well, it’s been over a year since I started but with breaks and stuff I’ve not hit an actual year until now, so hooray!
Progress
I opened up this log period continuing my 99 Strength grind, ending with 94 Hitpoints and 98 Strength during week one.

I ended up killing around 48,000 – 49,000 Giant Spiders, getting 300 or so Beginner Clues. Every time I got the Barbarian Village step, I ran up the Stronghold to do it, hoping for a one-step clue.
I managed to get 2 of those, bumping my Beginner Clue completion to 3 in total.
The loot wasn’t much to write home about but here it is: Clue #2, Clue #3.

To give some time for my clanmates to be able attend my 99 party, I put off getting the level until the 1st, which left me needing something to do.
I decided to AFK Waterfiends for their crafting drops, hitting 93 Ranged while doing so.

From their drops, I was able to finish up 75 Crafting, which allows me to make Slayer Rings, an important piece in my Farming grind.

With Slayer Rings, I can teleport to the Rellekka Slayer Cave, putting me closer to the back entrance of Troll Stronghold than my house portal, cutting the distance and time for herb runs down significantly.
Also, it’ll help my 99 Attack and Defense grind, as I plan on getting most of those levels at Kurasks. I will more actively pursue those after I get 81 Agility for the first shortcut in the Slayer Cave, which I plan on finally getting over with soon.
To kill more time, I used a buncha herbs and hit 69 Herblore. With some more Kingdom Management, I now also have the herbs to hit 71 Herblore, where I can boost to make Range Potions, which will help with many many things in the near future.

As a final timekiller, I fletched some Maple Longbows hitting 79 Fletching, initially working towards the goal of 85.

I wasn’t consciously thinking about it when I made the decision to go for 99 Strength but I think it’s extremely fitting that I ended up hitting 99 Strength during the 1 year mark.

With such a long time of passive play I decided to do something more active and went to kill the Crazy Archeologist for some Red Dragonhide, in hopes of upgrading my Range gear.
On the 4th kill, I got a Malediction Shard 2.

On the 9th and 10th kills, I got the Red Dragonhide I was looking for.

Since I can’t quite craft the body yet, I wasn’t being harassed by PKers, and I was generally having a good time, I decided to try to get the Red Dragonhide Body drop from him, which I got at 17 kills

I kept killing him in the hopes of getting the Odium Shard 2 but wasn’t quite that lucky (Not that I can complain, getting the Malediction shard, a 1/256 drop, in 4 kills).
I did hit 88 Magic though, one step closer to 93!

After that, I crafted some Red Dragonhide Chaps to finish the job.

Back to mostly passive play, I continued Fletching. However, now that I have Red Dragonhide, I changed my goal to 87, from 85, which will allow me to craft Red Dragonhide Shields. These are, feasibly, my 2nd best in slot Ranged offhand until I get an Odium Ward. I actually have all the materials to hit this level, it’s just a matter of processing them at this point.
I just wanna rant here about how useless Ranged armor is in terms of damage boosting, I see very minimal damage increases from upgrading from a Spined Body (Green Dragonhide) and Blue Dragonhide Chaps to full Red. But at least I look cooler, and that’s all that really matters.
I finished the period at 81 Fletching

I also hit 53 Farming, a great side effect of passive play is that I can drop what I’m doing and go on farm runs when the patches are ready. Shoutout to Runelite’s Farming timers!

To replenish the Sharks I used for the 99 Strength grind, I switched over to fishing, finally cooking them today and also hitting 88 Cooking

I got a duplicate Warrior Ring from Dag Kings today, which is slightly disappointing but I do like to keep 2 of each important item so it’s not a totally bad thing.
These were my stats at the time of this post

Goals
I’ll probably do some Sabretooth Kebbit hunting to get some teeth and make Hunter Potions, as I have quite a few Avantoes and they should get me to 71 Herblore, allowing me to boost to make Range Potions, a huge upgrade and valuable tool for some not-so-distant bossing.
