Preface
Jagex should have given Basilisk Knights a key drop for a re-fight of the quest boss.
Progress
As stated at the end of my last log, I continued killing a lot of Basilisk Knights, hitting 84 Ranged and 57 Prayer.

I killed till Runelite said I’d hit 1,000kc (I’ve killed 1,024 total but those 24 were immediately after the quest and before Runelite had updated). I did not get a jaw, and with the wonderful job Jagex did with balancing them the week (6 days, even) after the quest released, it may be some time before I get back to them. I did accrue a nice collection of runes (And money!) so it wasn’t entirely fruitless.

Couldn’t think of anything to do so I made some more Yants™ and then some Molten Glass from my stockpile of supplies, which got me to 66 Crafting.

Worked on some Wilderness slayer for Mysterious Emblems and Slayer Points (Rune Pouch, Revenant Task block, and Herb Sack were my goals for these). Hit 80 Attack, reaching my goal for that skill in the meantime, and switched over to training Defence, which I hit 71 in not too long after. I also got 72 Slayer before my optimal time to do Wilderness slayer ended. I decided to train Smithing so I could make Adamant Bolts in order to utilize enchanted Ruby and Diamond tipped bolts.

To go about achieving that, I bought the ore to make 6.3K Mith Bars. Smelting all those bars at Blast Furnace allowed me to make Mithril Platebodies, and smithing those platebodies got me to 72 Smithing, allowing me to boost to make Adamant Bolts. When I really want to make a lot of bolts I’ll get up to 73 Smithing normally, but for now boosting is enough to make what I require. I did prepare a bit during the smithing process by smithing the bars at the anvil in the Jatiszo Ore Store and buying Coal as I left the building, making it so I have to buy very little Coal when the time comes.

I alched all the platebodies I made and near the end of it all I hit 79 Magic.

As was the plan from the get-go, I made a decent amount of profit from that smithing process, even accounting for the extra Coal I purchased. The cash in the Magic level screenshot is purely from Mithril Platebodies, and I had about 5m in the bank at that time. Now, for the time investment involved it’s awful money, but not going into the negatives when training Smithing is pretty nice to me.
Near the end of the week 27 period, I passed 30,000,000 total experience.

I’d been thinking about it for a bit but around the end of week 27 I’d made my mind up about removing the restriction around Kingdom Management (and as such, the associated quests, and ultimately the Fremmy Hard Diaries). The restrictions involved defeating each of the God Wars Dungeon bosses 50 times before I could access said content.
I felt that out of all the arbitrary restrictions I’ve placed on myself, this is the most arbitrary and even out of place, one yet. It does add challenge to the account but after some research and thinking, perhaps too much challenge for what I’m looking to do (have fun, first and foremost). In general, the main thing that locking Kingdom Management + the Hard Diaries made harder to do was obtain Dragonhide armor, since I need the Hard Diaries to be able to tan Dragonhide via the Tan Leather spell. I do gain easier access to herbs and hardwood (for useful Construction hotspots) but those paled in comparison in my original planning.
So going forward, I had planned to do Throne of Miscellania and Royal Trouble on October 11th (the day of this post). This gives me a bunch of things to work toward that isn’t bossing, which should help diversify the grinds and keep things exciting. I do still plan on bossing but given my solo DK attempts earlier ended in near-death and absolute failure, I still have a ways to go. I did duo with a friend and proved that I can indeed kill them (alas, no good loot), but going alone is not something I’m wholly capable of just yet.
As such, the GWD bosses are even further away.
My Google Docs pages have been updated to reflect these changes, the additional quests, and the shifted goals. I’ve also fixed a few errors that I noticed.
With the Fremmy Hard Diaries becoming a closer goal, I started some work towards them.
To kill two birds with several thousand gemstones, I decided to level mining by mining the gem rocks in the Lunar Isle Mine, and then Crafting by cutting and turning the gems into jewellery (Though I’m still on the fence about whether or not to keep Emeralds, Rubies, and Diamonds and not turn them into bolt tips).
Since I had completed Heroes’ Quest so I could complete The Fremennik Exiles, I can now charge Amulets of Glory (And Rings of Wealth, but I still am sorely lacking those). I took 3 of my obtained amulets to the Fountain of Rune in the Wilderness and charged them there (Sadly none of them turned into an Eternal Glory, never lucky smh)
Though my focus on Farming has dropped significantly, I still try to do some runs here and there and want to level it. I hit 48 Farming, eliminating the need to boost to plant Jangerberry Seeds (and basically making any bush seed below it obsolete).

I pushed my Wildy Slayer time a bit and managed to finish up gathering the necessary amount of Mysterious Emblems/Bounty Hunter Points to buy the Rune Pouch which I promptly put to use in my mining trips to utilize Lunar Isle teleports to finish trips.

During this particular stretch I hit 72 Defence, putting me at 1,600 Total Level.

Overall my mining efforts put me at 66 Mining, and 68 Crafting (Though that was on mobile so I do not have a screenshot) and I’ll pick that up real soon. Spoils from mining the gem rocks for those levels.

I continued Wildy Slayer after work so I could build my my task streak and get the points for the Herb Sack.
During said grind I got 73 Defence (on mobile? There’s no screenshot so it’s the only explanation, honestly can’t remember, it’s been a pretty draining week) which made me hit 100 Combat (calculations are from current stats).

I also hit 73 Slayer and then ended at 75 Defence. There’s also no screenshot and I can’t quite remember when/where I got it, but I hit 85 Hitpoints this period (likely during week 27), too.

Upon getting the points for the Herb Sack, I went to go buy it, only to learn that I needed 58 Herblore for it (I was at 57 with less than 10k to go).

With it being Friday (Today. Well, it was Friday when I was writing this part at least) and thus the end of the log period, I went ahead and completed Throne of Miscellania and Royal Trouble as planned. I learned that actions taken against the two kingdoms (read: murdering and stealing from them) before Throne of Miscellania is started are completely forgotten, and you start with 25% favor no matter what you did before. Which is nice because I kinda stole from their stalls a lot.

With the Agility XP reward from Royal Trouble, I was 101 XP from a level, so I ran a lap of the Barbarian Agility Course to hit 67 Agility.

Aside from Kingdom Management and Kingdom Management+, Royal Trouble gives me access to a store that sells Chocolate Bars, which means I can now reliably make Energy Potions, which is an insane quality of life change for me. I can also buy Cider which boosts Farming by 1, if I want to not use Garden Pies.
In making said Energy Potions, I got closer to 58 Herblore, and after some Kebbit Dentistry I made some Hunter Potions to reach 58 Herblore and then bought the Herb Sack.

I’ve just been fishing Sharks as I’m writing this log so nothing too major has changed during it.
These were my stats at the time of this post

Goals:
I’ve just been fishing Sharks as I’m writing this log so nothing too major has changed during it.
I’m going to try to get 600,000 BH points for a Dragon Battleaxe before next Thursday (Which is when the Bounty Hunter Rework is going to happen, it seems) but I’m not sure if I’ll have the energy to do Wildy Slayer for that. I may consider just making an exception to allow the purchasing of them from the Heroes’ Guild if I can’t manage to earn one through the BH store, as the Special Attack really fits the Barbarian theme.
Lastly, in order to complete the Fremennik Hard Diaries, I need the following:
65 Herblore (+1 boost to 66 to make the Super Defence Potion)
No specific method for this, though the Herb Sack and Kingdom Management will help this immensely.
75 Thieving (To steal from the Keldagrim Gem Stall)
I’ve gotta pickpocket Fremennik Citizens 16,626 times to reach this. I’ll be using Dodgy Necklaces as I’ve been accumulating quite a few Opals from my Mining training
69 Mining (+1 boost to 70 to mine the 5 Adamantite Ores on Jatiszo)
Mine the Lunar Isle Gem Rocks 2,200 more times, might just hit 70 straight off, depending on what I’m doing IRL, as it’s only 3,270 times and I’ll need gems for Crafting
I also need to teleport to Waterbirth from the Lunar Spellbook but that just requires me remembering to do it when I’m on said spellbook as I already meet the actual requirements.
