Preface
Missed a post for a week so this one covers 3 weeks.
New Rules/Systems
Non-Wilderness Slayer
NPC Contact Chaeldar since she seems highly likely to give a doable task
If it’s out of my area NPC contact Tureal and try to reset, find the best way to complete his task
If I cannot reset, or Tureal gives a reset outside of my area, do the task as fast as possible and ignore all loot
I also must walk to the task area from whatever the closest legal method of transportation I have
As I will be resetting constantly, I won’t realistically have enough Slayer Points to just skip tasks by spending them and, and since I’m doing this for fun and not to be super hardcore, this is the method I settled on
Clue Scrolls
I will not be making out of area exceptions for clue scrolls, there are actually quite a few Hard Clue steps that I can do (40, +/- 2 if I did the counting right) so there’s no real reason to.
There’s 42 of 168 hard clue steps I can do, at the time of this post.
Progress
Started off focusing on training Prayer (read: killing things and burying their bones) to get the rest of those juicy overheads, making sure to complete Mountain Daughter for that sweet sweet 2k exp reward.
Once I hit 42 I decided to get it over with and ran to the Bone Yard in the Wilderness. I set about gathering Big Bones and burying regular Bones while waiting for the respawn, and then running to the Chaos Altar to offer the Big Bones. I ended up really close in just one trip and I couldn’t be bothered to do another so I just went back to the Bone Yard and picked up both types of bones and buried them till 43 Prayer.

Afterwards, I worked on finishing up the final three requirements for Lunar Diplomacy. I killed a lot of Trolls and Ankou and ended with some Alching and vegetable thieving for 65 Magic.

Next came a lot of Iron mining, much of which I did on mobile (no screenshot, unfortunately). I banked about 2k ores and powermined the rest, ending with a few trips of mithril for use later, which got me to 60 Mining.
Finally, some fires were made to hit 49 Firemaking.

Once I had the skill requirements for the quest, I went and set up the Bullseye Lantern for the Emerald Lantern used in the quest (if those damned Piscatorians hadn’t hunted all the whales we’d have whale oil lanterns, none of this swamp tar sciencey crap).
I then started and completed Lunar Diplomacy. The hardest part about the quest was running to the Abyss four times from the Corporeal Beast cave while carrying a few Draman/Partial Lunar Staves.

The hardest part about the quest was running to the Abyss four times from the Corporeal Beast cave while carrying a few Draman/Partial Lunar Staves.
Since 65 Magic was a requirement for Lunar Diplomacy, NPC Contact requires 67 Magic, and my boy Jossik at the Lighthouse sells Wizard’s Mind Bombs, I jumped onto the normal slayer train almost immediately. This netted me a few Slayer levels and also Combat Levels which were the next goal, as Dream Mentor has a strict 85 Combat requirement.
I unlocked Basilisks and decided to train melee on them to reach that goal, and get lots of Nature runes. After hitting 66 Attack, I was finally there.

I decided that, despite having less than the recommended requirements to easily complete Dream Mentor, there were too many useful things locked behind it to put it off.
I quickly completed Eadgar’s Ruse, the last exception quest for now and also the final requirement for Dream Mentor, and then set off to tackle Cyrisus’ fear of combat.

The final fight took two attempts (and the second one let me have extra food since I didn’t need some quest items on me at that point, but I beat the bosses and completed Dream Mentor. This screenshot of me hitting 67 Magic from the quest reward shows what I had left after the fight.

At this point, I’ve completed every quest I can do with my current rules and exceptions. There will be more quests to do later (especially if Jagex ever adds the hinted at expansion of Olaf’s Quest) but those are locked behind killing 50 of each God Wars Dungeon boss, because some of them require heavy exceptions and I’m not keen on making any more of those at this time.
All that was left to unlock Hunter was hitting 68 Magic in order to Mind Bomb boost to 71 for Hunter Kit.
I used up a lot of the Nature runes I had gathered to High Alch various things (Mostly the rest of my Yants™) and then used the money from that venture to buy runes to finish up training and attained 68 Magic.

With Hunter unlocked I set about a heavy grind, hitting 37 Hunter at the end of Week 5 and 65 Hunter before doing anything else in Week 6 (aside from raking patches after some Impling hunting.)

From Implings I got Red Spiky Vambs, a few Amulets of Power, and lots of Oak Planks.

While looking at Construction training methods, I discovered that the Stonemason in Keldagrim sells Limestone Bricks. I jumped right on buying enough bricks to hit 45 Construction so I could build a Chapel and Oak Altar in my house, along with Tool Store 4 and Oak Shelves 2. Having an Altar in my house certainly makes combat a lot nicer since I can pray all the time now.

Additionally, with Tool Store 4 I unlocked Glassblowing, which will come in handy later when I can cast Superglass Make, and a Tiara Mould, the last hurdle for completing the Easy Fremennik Diaries. Here’s me dropping the lamp from the reward to get 43 Herblore.

After that Herblore level I was close to a milestone so I knocked out some quick (24 Thieving) levels to hit 1250 Total.

Feeling a bit burnt out from grinding Hunter I decided that this was a good time to obtain new gear. While I had already obtained some in the form of Red Spiky Vambs and an Amulet of Power, I needed 60 Ranged to use the vambraces so my first goal was new Ranged gear to facilitate that training.
I started by grinding Barbarian Spirits in the Ancient Cavern to get a Yew Shortbow, and then I went for 61 Fletching to make an Adamant Crossbow with parts I could buy at the Keldagrim Crossbow Store. I also made the sweet discovery that there are no bots to compete with for ores at the Jatiszo Ore Store on 1250+ total worlds, and that Mithril Ore from the Blast Furnace store is fairly affordable vs the time it takes to mine.

With the Ranged weaponry upgrades out of the way, I delved into the Waterbirth Island Dungeon to kill ranged Dagannoths and Giant Rock Crabs for their components of the Fremennik Armor sets, eventually walking out with enough pieces for the Spined and Rockshell armors. I made extra Rockshell Helmets with the extra shards I obtained while going for the other pieces and alched them. I won’t need spares because the Neitiznot Helmet is much better, and the helmets alch for 16k profit (they cost 5k to make).

Since the Rock Shell armor is identical to Rune armor in all but weight (and the body does not require Dragon Slayer to wear), it’s a vast upgrade from my previous go-to armor of an Adamant Chainbody and Mithril Platelegs.
The Spined armor is identical to Green Dragonhide armor. This means the Spined Chaps are actually worse than the Yak-Hide chaps, but the Body is an upgrade over the Hardleather Body I made from a Hard Leather an impling gave me. The helmet, however, is worse than an Archer Helmet so I will continue using the Archer Helmet.
Skeletal armor is worse than Lunar armor so I will obtain it at a later date.
I started week 7 by going for 60 Ranged so I could equip the Red Spiky Vambs, which will be my best in slot Ranged and Melee gloves for a long while. I hit 55 Slayer in the same task shown above, too. After I completed the task I ran to Krystilia to buy a Leaf-Bladed Spear and a Slayer Staff and started the Turoth grind for their tasty drops.

I got pretty lucky, not gonna lie. I got a Light Mystic Bottom drop at 41 KC, many usable herbs, 3 Snapdragon seeds, a pretty nice stack of Nature runes, and 70 Attack. At 411 KC I got that juicy Leaf-Bladed Sword drop, and while I was finishing up that inventory, I got another Light Mystic Bottom.

Using Bitterkoekje’s DPS calculator I settled on replacing my Dragon Longsword with the Leaf-Bladed Sword.
I began some God Wars Dungeon exploration due to an Icefiend skip task I had. I found that I could do Hellhounds without having to sit in the Wilderness (aside from Wilderness tasks, of course), and Bloodvelds (though I honestly don’t know if I can get assigned those). I also found that Unblessed Symbols don’t make the Saradominists like you, so I’m currently locked to Saradomin and Zamorak areas for complete safety, or bringing other God books to swap as I traverse through other areas.
On the road to 70 Defense, I hit 10m total exp, and while on an exception task (eww) I hit 70 Defense, giving me base 70 Melee stats.

Since the fastest way for me to get to dogs is to run south from Rellekka into McGrubor’s Woods, I House Teleport or Lyre Teleport to start that journey. Since I’ve discovered that teleport area is my hotspot for Implings, I also bring my Impling catching gear so I don’t miss any before I cross the bridge out of the area. No illegal Implings were caught in the making of that screenshot.
While doing Wilderness Slayer to gain points, I got assigned Mammoths and made the real nice discovery that they drop low level Bush seeds, and I have access to a Bush patch on Etceteria. So now I’m a farmer.
With the points I gained from my Wilderness task streak, I purchased the ability to fight Superior Creatures which should spice Slayer up a bit.
These were my stats at the time of this post

After all that, I’ve decided I’ve put off getting 80 cooking for far too long so I’m finally fishing non-stop until I achieve it.
